On August 29th in Arlington,Texas there was a Ranger game against the Athletics it took us like 2 hours to get there and about 2 back when we got there I could smell roasted peanuts and hot dogs. While I was walking up there it was high and amazing! The field was neat and looked like a million-airs yard because the outfield looked so good in the first inning Colby Lewis struck out 2 and had a ground out to first basemen Jorge Cantu. In their half inning they had no hits. In Oakland’s half inning they also had no hits. In the ranger half inning they got a hit by David Murphy but he never scored. In their half inning they got a hit by Kevin Kouzmanoff but he failed to score. In the ranger half inning they scored a run but I can’t remember how. In their half inning Mark Ellis hit a homerun to tie it up then got 2 hits but they failed to scored them all. In the Ranger half inning they failed to score. In Oakland’s half inning Kevin Kouzmanoff hit a homerun and then scored 2 runs by hits and stealing bases. the rangers didn’t score.  In Oakland’s half inning they scored 3 runs by hits. In the ranger half inning they scored a run by Josh Hamilton’s homerun. No team’s scored until the 8th inning by Matt Larish’s Sacrifice fly with the bases loaded. The game ender was when Jorge Cantu grounded into a double play to end it Oakland 8 Texas 2! They lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. The rangers are falling a little here at the end… they need to finish strong as they prepare for the playoffs. Hope Oakland doesn’t catch them.
